I bought this for my two-year-old over 4 months ago. My kid didn't like the plastic silverware, wanting to use what we use. I got these as an alternative, and they’re great for little hands. I've run them through the dishwasher countless times, and despite being dropped many times, they still look perfect.I've seen other reviews mentioning the spoon is too big, but for my little one, it's perfect. He's been able to perfect using spoons with more liquid-type substances like yogurt because of it. We've also used the knife to work on cutting skills, specifically with fruit. It does a great job and doesn't hurt if it slips. I've bought several sets of children's metal silverware, but many of them tarnish quickly and have designs on them.
