Picks up on smudges easily and the forks all came with black coating in between the prongs that flakes but doesn’t entirely come off.They look good, a bit on the heavy side. But the reason I will return these is that the edge that goes in your mouth is sharp! I only checked two spoons, but wouldn’t put these in my mouth.Very nice, light weight but not cheaplove it.I don’t recommend this silverware to anyone. It looked exactly like what I was looking for and It stated that it was heavy duty, it is not. It feels unfinished, the sides should have been polished removing sharp edges.Beware in between the fork the paint is already chipping. Very unsafe if consuming.Our family's been using this utensil set from vivani for a few months now. They clean fairly easily with just handwashing and also withstand heavy dishwasher loads as well. They're durable enough that I'm not worried about them getting bent. I haven't noticed any warping or chipping either.They don't feel quite the same as antique utensils or more premium utensils but I don't really have any complaints. They work well.I love the look of these. The style and mirror finish are just perfect! My only complaint is that there is little weight. I bought these to replace a very light set of silverware. My old set was so light, the spoon edges felt sharp in your mouth. Thankfully this set is indeed a bit better. At about $1 per utensil it’s a good price.My photos of just the spoons show the weight of my awful old spoon, a Vivani spoon, a highly recognized name brand in silverware and an unknown brand where I just lucked out. The Vivani falls pretty much in the middle of the high end brand and the cheapie spoon. It’s in fact a bit closer in feel to the cheap one but the shine and style of the Vivani one far exceeds the cheap spoon.I also have a photo comparing this set to a premium, much more expensive set. I left out the salad forks. This one is quite a bit lighter in cost and weight. All in all a good value if on a budget! These should last a long time and they are pretty! Sadly, I got these for my dad’s apartment because the spoons I originally got him where too sharp. These will not work for him. Apparently as we age into our 80’s our skin gets more and more sensitive. Luckily I found the no name brand here on Amazon which just says “stainless steel” on the back that is super high quality.
