I was impressed with this set...not blowm away, but it does look nice right out of the box.Definitely pleased with the purchase. We ordered two sets because the holidays are coming upso many mouths to feed. I suspect the pretty finish will fade or rub off fairly easily (bummer) butthe metal should be here till Jesus comes so I call it a win! You wont be disappointed if you areconsidering.. definitely buy it.So I got this set but had no idea of what I was getting into. This set feels sturdy as it is made of stainless steel. The first thing I did was put it in the washing machine to see how it would hold up. There was no chipping or peeling noted on the utensils. Even though the design on the handle is not etched into the metal itself, it doesn't feel like something that would peel or chip easily. The set Includes teaspoons, salad forks, larger forks, tablespoons (that look like soup spoons), and knives. I did worry that after washing the utensils would have water stains on them, but surprisingly they air dried nicely. If you're looking for aesthetically pleasing kitchen utensils that won't break the bank, this is for you.these are really pretty and different. must hand washDid not chip or flake off when washed with hot water in the sink as other reviews has mentioed we use these daily and love them and will be buying another setJust what I was looking for. The only down size is that the smaller spoon & fork are more on the line of child size.
